Anza Borrego Creation Destination

Did you know that the Creation and Earth History Museum offers creation-based field tours and trips?

We are gearing up for our exciting Anza Borrego Geology Tour coming this April! The yearly tour of our local San Diego County deserts is lead by renowned Creation geologist, Dr. Steve Austin, who has lead many geology tours throughout the United States and elsewhere. Dr. Austin is a very accomplished geologist, speaker, and author and is perhaps known best for his work on the nautiloid bed in the redwall limestone of the Grand Canyon or his field work on catastrophism at Mount Saint Helens. You can see more about Dr. Austin and his body of work here: http://creationwiki.org/Steve_Austin

You may have been to The Creation and Earth History Museum in Santee, California, but have you had an up close encounter with the animals?

Did you know that the museum offers live animal shows?

How is a legless lizard different from a snake? It has all these features plus a tail that regenerates.

Not only does the museum bring out certain animals during tours, but the “CREEPING THINGS” animal show will come to you!

Glorifying God – Spreading Appreciation for His Creation – Refuting Darwinist Dogma

With a traveling entourage of underappreciated and misunderstood companions, we will visit your school, church, or homeschool and put on a detailed presentation that is sure to spark the interest of minds young and old. Many of the secretive creatures around us are often dismissed out of hand as gross, dangerous, or even vicious without a second glance or thought. We believe that all of Creation works together according to His will and that every creature has a function and order among it. Within this order, there are the black-sheep “Creeping Things,” serving many crucial functions and performing thousands of fascinating tasks that go unnoticed everyday. Let us, quickly dispel many of the misconceptions about reptiles, amphibians, insects and arachnids that have become ingrained in our modern culture.  Most of our animals are “kid friendly” and can be handled safely with our supervision and we do our best to get all of the observers to become participants. Our fun-fact-filled demonstrations usually last about 2 hours and contain about 10-20 animals. We currently can accommodate all of Southern California by appointment. You can visit the Creeping Things Facebook page for more information: https://www.facebook.com/CreepingThings

Many of our animals are currently on display in the Day 5 and Day 6 Exhibits of the museum and can be seen anytime Monday through Saturday 10 am to 6 pm. Others are behind the scenes and are used only for animal presentations. Look for more new animals coming soon to the Creation & Earth History Museum! Hope to see you there!
